Responsibilities

• Own the Sales Game: Crush sales goals by delivering next-level customer experiences, upselling must-have accessories, and promoting promos to drive revenue.
• Piercing Excellence: Train as a piercing expert, guide customers through piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions and concerns throughout the process.
• Keep It Fresh: Maintain an Insta-worthy store with displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts.
• Team Collaboration: Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high-energy vibe.
• Brand Representation: Showcase Claire’s products and services, stay updated on fashion and social media trends, and use knowledge to suggest products and boost sales.
• Store Operations: Oversee operations with efficiency and flair, including inventory management, cash handling, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotions.
• Create Shareable Moments: Encourage customers to share their Claire’s experiences on social media.

About You

• Sales-Obsessed Energy: You love closing sales, hitting goals, and turning browsers into buyers.
• Social & Digital Savvy: You know what’s trending and how to translate that into a great customer experience.
• Customer-First Mentality: You understand people and help them feel confident and empowered.
• Retail & Leadership Skills: At least one year of retail experience, ideally with some leadership or sales-driving responsibility.
• Ready to Hustle: You’re organized, self-motivated, and always looking to level up.

Job Requirements

• You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, especially with young or anxious customers.
• Proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales.
• Completed some high school and at least one year of retail management experience.
• You can stand during shifts and lift/move 11-35 kg (25-75 lbs).
• You can bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools to place merchandise and assist customers.
• You are passionate about helping customers express themselves daily.
• You enjoy interacting with customers and providing excellent service.
• You align with our values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You have a solid grasp of mathematics for inventory, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• You are a driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• You are self-motivated and organized; some stores may require you to work alone.
• You stay up to date with fashion trends and can create a curated look with product during your shift.

Compensation Range: $18.75 - $20.25

Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable policies and laws. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
