About Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Sr. User Experience Researcher to lead mixed methods research that informs investments across UKG’s AI portfolio. You will work with cross-functional partners to identify critical features and experiences that deliver business and customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods, and behavioral/log data analysis to deepen understanding of the user experience and to drive product strategy. Translate complex data into actionable insights and opportunities.
  • Help build product metrics measurement programs, platforms and reporting mechanisms to scale growing organizational needs.
  • Develop and socialize a strategic point of view on key topics. Advise senior stakeholders and inform north star direction.
  • Raise the methodological bar within the User Research team and mentor other team members.
  • Co-lead ideation and co-creation activities with cross-functional partners and customers.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional user research experience, with knowledge of UX best practices and end-to-end ownership of UX projects.
  • Ability to conduct quantitative research at scale using a variety of methods (log analytics, longitudinal programs, A/B testing, trigger-based automated surveys, conjoint, discrete choice modeling).
  • Extensive experience with quantitative analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, SPSS).
  • Experience with quantitative data collection platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Forms).
  • Ability to develop creative and practical research approaches to complex UX problems.
  • Experience facilitating design and ideation sprints and familiarity with workshop methods.
  • Experience leveraging AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (e.g., AI-powered features, automated workflows, AI-driven insights).
  • BS/BA degree in HCI, UX, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Subject matter knowledge related to workforce management, human resource management and/or talent management is a plus.
  • Experience with Enterprise software applications highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with usage analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Pendo, Looker, Tableau).
  • Experience developing user experience metrics scales and measures.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $112,300 to $161,400, with base pay varying by skills, experience, and location. This role is eligible for short-term and long-term incentives as part of total compensation. Benefits information is available on the UKG careers site.
