**Summary:**
The AU Career Center (CC) seeks individuals to assist with marketing and communication efforts, including planning, research, ideation, conceptualization, production, and reporting. The produced campaigns will promote events, fairs, success stories, and overall office visibility. The individual needs to be creative, fast-thinking, ready to learn, and willing to be involved in various marketing and communication tasks. This position will work closely with the Assistant Director, Marketing and Communications to establish and maintain AU Career Center marketing initiatives. The assistant will help with content on social media sites, web and print materials, and work on marketing campaigns for a range of AU Career Center programs and services. **Competencies:*** Creativity and Storytelling.* Oral/Written Communication.* Collaboration/Teamwork.* Feedback and Updates Management.* Workflow and Deadlines.* Critical Thinking/Problem Solving.* Ethical Behavior/Professionalism.* Data and Digital Technology.**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:*** Part-Time.* Student.* 4 - 5 hours per week.* Active Federal Work Study award.* This position is for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, with a strong possibility of renewing for future semesters. **Salary Range:*** $17.95 per hour.* The incumbent must be a current or enrolled AU student.* The position is open only to current AU students and requires a FWS award.**Preferred Education and Experience:*** Creativity, visual design, and video production skills, are a plus.* Marketing, communications, art, graphic design, preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, or other design software is also preferred, as well as SEO, AI and analytics skills.* These preferred qualifications would contribute to being successful early on in this position, but these skills can be taught.
