CAD Designer Job at New Jersey Staffing in Toms River

Job Posting

Develop detailed drawings, plans, and profiles for a variety of civil engineering projects. Convert sketches and specifications into CAD-based plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to understand and fulfill project design requirements. Perform calculations for materials, dimensions, and costs and assist in preparing estimates and bid documents. Ensure compliance of drawings with NJDEP, municipal codes, and other regulatory standards. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. At least 3 years of experience in civil drafting/design. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and legal descriptions. Experience with stormwater management, grading, and utility design.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
