Position Overview
Riverstone Logistics is seeking a proactive and strategic Communications & Content Manager to lead, shape, and execute communication strategies that strengthen our brand, engage employees, and connect with our external audiences. This role combines high-level strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring our message is clear, consistent, and compelling across every channel.
The ideal candidate is a storyteller, strategist, and doer — someone who can craft a vision for communications, manage projects with precision, and roll up their sleeves to create outstanding content that amplifies Riverstone’s purpose and core beliefs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Leadership
- Partner with leadership to design and execute internal and external communication strategies that support company priorities and culture.
- Develop messaging frameworks and campaign strategies to align with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and departments on communications best practices.
Content Strategy & Development
- Own the content calendar, ensuring alignment with campaigns, milestones, and company goals.
- Write, edit, and produce engaging, on-brand content for social media, newsletters, blogs, executive messaging, and presentations.
- Guide creative direction and collaborate with designers, video, and production teams to deliver compelling storytelling assets.
Employee & Community Engagement
- Drive engagement across internal platforms (Workvivo, newsletters, announcements) with content that informs, inspires, and connects employees.
- Manage external presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms to enhance Riverstone’s reputation as an industry leader and employer of choice.
- Measure engagement and use insights to optimize reach and impact.
Brand Stewardship
- Serve as a steward of Riverstone’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity.
- Ensure consistency and compliance across all communication touchpoints.
Project & Vendor Management
- Lead communication-related projects, managing stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
- Partner with vendors for creative, printing, swag, and events.
- Support town halls, company events, and culture-building initiatives with strategic messaging and promotional support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in communications, content, or brand management.
- Proven ability to balance strategy and execution — designing plans and producing deliverables.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Skilled in social media management, analytics, and engagement.
- Proficiency with creative tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar).
- Experience advising leadership and managing communications is a plus.
