About the Corporate Communications Team: The Corporate Communications team sits within Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA), which seeks to enhance and protect the reputation of Citi, its businesses and the brand through direct and indirect communication with Citi's various stakeholders, including our colleagues. Corporate Communications is a nimble team in ESPA that covers a broad scope of responsibilities, including executive communications, internal communications, public engagements and corporate reputation programs. The team serves as company spokespeople to media, drives engagement with colleagues and develops external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 225,000 colleagues. Within Citi, the team works with many internal partners, including senior leadership, and regularly coordinates closely with other members of ESPA across the world. We are seeking an experienced communicator to lead communications strategy and execution to shape a workplace where every colleague feels engaged and included. This Communications SVP will drive internal narrative through colleague engagement and external narrative through media, speaking engagements and digital channels, partnering closely with leaders in Human Resources and across Global Communications. Responsibilities

Lead strategy and execute multi-channel communications in support of programs and initiatives related to colleague engagement initiatives. Support communications for our global inclusion networks and leaders. Partner internally with HR and Engagement business leads to elevate and highlight stories and insights using social media and other engaging channels. Manage situations and crisis communications on issues with potential reputational impact. Support executive communications for Citi’s Head of Talent Management & Engagement and other leaders, including town halls or other speaking engagements, written and video messages, and media opportunities. Develop a range of communication materials, including internal memos and news stories, media statements and social media posts, and work with stakeholders internally and externally to develop and approve content. Monitor internal feedback, media trends and insights and social media dialogue; analyze and make recommendations for action. Use quantitative and qualitative insights to drive decisions and measure success. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications or other related field 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably within large, complex and global organizations Subject matter expertise and passion for cultivating a culture of inclusion and belonging Demonstrated track record of conducting successful and proactive communications programs that employ creativity and use a variety of tools, forums and media Strong communicator (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives and other stakeholders Exceptional writing and editing skills Experience working with journalists, generating positive media coverage that supports business objectives Integrity, maturity, dependability and a positive professional attitude A leader who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to contribute Excellent organizational and project management skills Strategic mindset to integrate business strategy into all communications Track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Critical Competencies: Strategic Orientation, Relationship Building, Oral Communication, Written Communication, Change Communications, Project Management, Results Orientation Job Details
