Role & Responsibilities

  • Senior Graphic Designer to support an expanding design team. Work alongside a larger creative team and interact with clients, retail specialists, and product designers. Understand requirements and possibilities of design and apply a graphic skin to various retail solutions created by product designers.
  • Create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. Develop the overall layout and production design for physical or digital point of sale retail design.
  • Brainstorm and develop creative solutions for briefs; present work professionally to the team and client (sell your work to your team first).
  • Engage in interactive design sessions and brainstorms; receive briefs and design direction from studio traffic, assisting in a smooth handover from client service and strategy teams.
  • Conceptualization and design research; assist in generating exploratory mood boards by gathering literature and internet resources.
  • Be creative and adaptable to trends, conceptualizing original ideas. Develop concepts in Adobe software (Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • Pitch work in client-ready presentations (PowerPoint) for account teams and occasionally present ideas to clients directly.
  • Work through revisions efficiently to finalize designs and set up designs for production in Illustrator. Collaborate with product design teams to ensure designs can be produced accurately.
  • Mentor Junior and Mid-level Graphic Designers. Apply creative storytelling with simplicity and user-centricity.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of agency and/or design experience.
  • Software literacy in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
  • Brand experience is a must. Shopper experience preferred.
  • Friendly and dynamic disposition; strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a positive, respectful attitude.
  • Ability to work in the office on average 4 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday anchor days).

Salary & Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 per year. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience.
