This contract-to-hire opportunity requires a W2 arrangement with conversion to FTE after the contract period. For W2 consultants, a comprehensive benefits package is available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using TypeScript, CSS, SASS, HTML, Node.js, and React.js (or other JavaScript frameworks).
• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions on AWS using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and CircleCI.
• Utilize Docker containerization for application deployment.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Integrate RESTful API endpoints with the React frontend to fetch and manipulate data.
• Debug and test applications using tools like Jest and React Testing Library.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Working knowledge of React.js for UI development and SPAs.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills.
• Proficiency with Node.js and dependency management (npm or yarn).
• Experience with Python and pytest for testing.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EC2, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure / Office 365, particularly SharePoint.
• API integration experience and debugging/testing React applications.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with TypeScript, CSS, SASS, HTML, Node.js, GitHub, and React.js (or other JavaScript frameworks).
• At least 4 years of experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and Docker.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
