Overview
This role leads the development and execution of localized marketing strategies across Humana’s key markets. You’ll collaborate closely with Media, Portfolio, Brand marketing and external partners to deliver campaigns that reflect local dynamics, drive acquisitions, and support business goals. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-oriented marketer who understands how to tailor campaigns to diverse markets and build strong connections with local communities and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute local marketing strategies promoting Humana’s plan offerings and provider network that support efficient member acquisition across targeted geographies
Design and manage omni-channel campaigns, including community events, local media, grassroots outreach, and digital activations
Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all local marketing creative efforts, aligning with enterprise standards and regulatory guidelines
Leverage data and insights to tailor messaging and optimize campaign performance by market
Innovate creative development and testing approach leveraging cutting edge tools including AI
Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring timely, high-quality execution of local initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally with Media, Portfolio, Brand Marketing, Product, Clinical, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact
Present strategies and results to senior leadership, influencing investment and regional marketing priorities

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field or equivalent years of required experience
8+ years of professional experience in marketing, with a track record in regional or local strategy development, campaign execution, and partnership management—ideally within healthcare or other regulated industries
3+ years of strong leadership experience, including managing marketing teams and cross-functional initiatives
Strong proficiency with digital and traditional marketing channels, analytics, and budget oversight
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder, community, and executive engagement
Solid experience working within highly regulated industries
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
Experience leveraging market analytics and consumer insights to shape localized growth strategies
Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and segmentation technology
Proven success cultivating strategic relationships with local organizations and community partners
Additional Information
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: at minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
