Paramount Events is looking to hire an Event Producer to join our dynamic Off-Premise Catering sales team.
Applicants must be Chicagoland-local. This is NOT a remote position.
Job Responsibilities
• Create and edit customized proposals within our catering software
• Act as liaison between Event Managers, outside vendors, and clients to ensure clear communication and successful execution for every event
• Order equipment, linen, and other event needs
• Distribute paperwork to kitchen, warehouse, and staffing departments
• Produce event diagrams (floorplans) using All Seated software
• Create event packing lists
• Prepare Event Manager’s binder per event
• Submit post-event paperwork for billing and payment processing
• Be on-site liaison on events on occasions
• Follow-up with clients after an event
• Attend venue visits and take notes
• Attend networking events
• Create tasting menus and tent cards, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Detailed and organized
• A customer-centered approach to hospitality
• Knowledge of current industry trends
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Very strong organizational skills and follow-through
• Creative skills to provide innovative solutions and strong presentation skills
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, cross-functional teams, and outside vendors
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, All Seated, Caterease, or similar programs, plus
Required Education/Experience
Two or more years of experience required in hospitality or food & beverage industry, off premise catering a plus
Ability to work with a flexible schedule to include weekdays and some evenings and weekends
