Senior Marketing Manager
The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha is hiring a dynamic, driven, and creative Senior Marketing Manager with strong experience in the hospitality industry and knowledge of the city's events scene. The Senior Marketing Manager is a strategic leader, creative problem solver, innovative thinker, and cross-functional collaborator. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong self-management and self-leadership skills, anticipates the needs of stakeholders, proactively addresses gaps, and continually evolves marketing practices to remain relevant and drive results. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role nurtures close relationships with other departments and the Kimpton brand marketing team at both the property and corporate levels to ensure marketing strategy support for all revenue-producing areas is met. Responsibilities include the development and execution of the property-level marketing plan, consisting of strategies and campaigns that promote on-brand messaging through traditional, digital, and social media channels. The role collaborates with hotel leaders, above-property teams, and brand partners to create thoughtful partnerships, programming, and activation, then integrates that content into targeted campaigns to drive consumer awareness and preference, increase market share, and build broader asset and brand awareness. The focus is on showcasing property and F&B programming, activation, and promotions to hotel guests, local patrons, and destination visitors. Qualifications Three to five years' experience in hotel marketing. Demonstrated competency managing outside agencies. Demonstrated competency in paid digital marketing. Demonstrated competency in copywriting. Basic understanding of HTML. Excellent time management skills. Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Competency in Adobe design programs. Average or better knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Benefits
