Overview

We are looking for a self-motivated writer to develop effective and compelling content for the commercial real estate industry. The writer will source material from SMEs and independent research to create thought leadership content including reports, white papers, blog posts, and web/print copy. The role involves conceptualizing content that supports our corporate identity and reputation across internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate is motivated, ambitious, excited by new challenges, able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment, and values collaboration. Phenomenal communication and copywriting skills are required.

Location

This is an in-office role. Candidate must be located in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver high-quality, client-facing material (industry reports, blog content, magazine articles, etc.).
• Execute critical editorial and communication initiatives and campaigns.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and other teams to draft copy for collateral.
• Work with marketing colleagues to provide content for emails and social media.
• Track multiple projects to meet deadlines and report status updates.
• Coordinate with PR and communications teams to maximize publicity of content.
• Generate ideas and contribute editorials for ongoing and proactive content marketing deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in a content writing or journalism role.
• Experience in copywriting and editing.
• Demonstrated success in delivering projects with tight deadlines.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to identify issues and opportunities quickly.

Preferred Requirements

• Ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Deadline-oriented with strong follow-up and reporting skills.
• Experience in commercial real estate writing is a plus.
• Understanding of SEO-friendly copy.
• Ability to proactively source information and collaborate with SMEs to develop content.
• Independent self-starter with a sense of urgency.
