CorePower Yoga Studio seeks a part-time Studio Coordinator (SC) to support the world class studio experience, coordinating studio operations and upholding health and safety standards. This role is an entry-level position designed to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio, working alongside the Studio Manager to achieve company and studio goals. This description reflects the CorePower Yoga studio environment and values.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
- Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga core values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
- Commit to a flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week in studio to support operations coordination and teaching (if certified), including health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
- Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present.
- Maintain studio supply inventory to ensure provisions and amenities are available for students at all times (including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.).
- Engage with the studio community by greeting students, promoting yoga both inside and outside the studio, and fostering community at the front desk.
- Support teachers’ learning experience with POS and other pre/post class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol
- Uphold high cleanliness and functionality standards to ensure a safe, well-aired environment with appropriate heat, humidity, and a clutter-free space.
- Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and during visits.
- Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning, stocking amenities, and upholding cleanliness protocols while on duty.
- Coordinate SET scheduling, step in for no-call/no-shows, and provide training as scheduled.
- Lead Orientation for new SET members and train them on cleanliness protocols and role expectations.
- Serve as a liaison between the Studio Manager and teaching/SET teams for training and coordination of systems (POS, Online Reservation, Subbing Application, HRIS, Help Desk).
Teaching Schedule
- Teach a minimum of 6 CorePower Yoga classes per week and sub additional classes as needed to support the studio schedule.
Skills & Experience
- Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
- Excellent oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer service required.
- Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program preferred; Yoga Sculpt teacher training preferred.
- Familiar with studio systems (HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling and payroll systems, etc.).
- Ability to build relationships with diverse individuals and work under deadlines; self-starter with enthusiasm for new projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
Fine Print
- Availability must align with business needs and leadership schedules (morning, evening, weekend, holidays; some flexibility required).
- Physical ability to move around the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- If certified to teach, ability to step in with little to no notice when scheduled in the studio.
