Overview
CorePower Yoga is seeking a Studio Coordinator to support the world class CorePower Yoga studio experience, coordinate studio operations, and uphold health and safety standards. This is an entry‑level role designed to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio. The role works with the Studio Manager to deliver results and growth toward company and studio goals. There are both part‑time and full‑time variations described in the original posting.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values and inspire these values in others.
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
- Commit to a flexible schedule of 18–29 hours per week (part‑time) or 32–40 hours per week (full‑time) in studio, including health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support. Schedule flexibility is required.
- Serve as the studio‑level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present.
- Maintain studio supply inventory to ensure provisions and amenities are available for students, including cleanliness inventory, towels, programming materials, etc.
- Engage with the studio community, greet students by name, and foster community at the front desk.
- Support teachers in learning the POS and other pre/post class duties.
- Coordinate and execute health, safety, and cleanliness protocols in the studio, ensuring a clean, safe, and functional environment.
- Lead orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
- Coordinate studio operational systems (POS, Online Reservation System, Subbing Application, HRIS, Help Desk) and liaise between Studio Manager and teaching/SET teams.
- Assist with Scheduling and Training for the Studio Experience Team (SET), including handling no‑shows and shift coverage.
- Assist with teaching schedule by supporting delivery of CorePower Yoga classes (minimum of 6 per week if certified) and subbing as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
- Excellent oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service experience required.
- Yoga Alliance certified 200‑hour program is preferred; Yoga Sculpt training is preferred.
- Familiar with studio systems (HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling and payroll systems).
- Ability to build relationships across diverse personalities and levels of seniority.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with strong prioritization.
- Self‑starter with the ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
The Fine Print
- Availability must align with business needs, including morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday shifts.
- Ability to move around the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio.
