Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Key Qualifications and Experience: Certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) credential Experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments Strong knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and assistive technology Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills and patience in working with diverse learners Primary Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels Assess student needs and implement tailored teaching methods and resources Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support student success Maintain accurate records of student progress and update IEP goals accordingly Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities related to visual impairment education Location: Palmdale, California This opportunity provides the chance to contribute expert skills in a dedicated educational environment serving visually impaired students.
