Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, dynamic, and creative Digital Marketing Director to lead our retail company’s digital marketing, e-commerce, and revenue growth strategy. This role is not just strategic, but also highly operational — the successful candidate must be willing to be the face of the brand, actively participate in advertising, live streaming, photo/video shoots, and drive end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns.

The Digital Marketing Director will be directly accountable for achieving online sales targets, driving revenue through digital channels, and building long-term customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities Revenue & Sales Growth

Take full ownership of digital sales performance, with responsibility for achieving monthly and annual revenue targets.

Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) across websites, e-commerce platforms, and marketing funnels.

Plan and execute campaigns that directly generate sales uplift during product launches, festivals, and promotions.

Implement sales tracking dashboards to monitor performance in real time.

Work closely with retail operations and product teams to align promotions with sales objectives.

Digital Marketing & Strategy

Develop and execute a full-funnel digital marketing strategy covering SEO, SEM, social media, content, CRM, and e-commerce growth.

Plan and manage omni-channel campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube, programmatic, email, SMS, WhatsApp marketing).

Build and manage a marketing calendar to align with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and retail events.

Set and track KPIs (traffic, engagement, conversion, ROI, CAC, LTV).

Content Creation & Brand Representation

Be the company representative / brand ambassador in advertising campaigns, live streams, photo/video shoots, and promotional events.

Host or co-host live streaming sessions on e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.) and social media, in both Mandarin and English.

Participate in photo and video shoots for campaigns, including modeling or spokesperson duties.

Collaborate with creative agencies, photographers, videographers, and influencers to produce high-quality content.

E-Commerce & Performance Marketing

Oversee all e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, Shopify, company website) to drive sales and optimize listings.

Manage performance marketing campaigns, ensuring positive ROI across paid channels.

Optimize product pages with strong visuals, keywords, and descriptions for maximum conversions.

Implement retargeting and remarketing strategies to maximize repeat purchases.

Social Media & Community Building

Build strong social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.

Engage directly with followers and customers via social media and live sessions.

Develop influencer/KOL partnerships and affiliate programs.

Drive user-generated content (UGC) and build a loyal brand community.

Analytics & Reporting

Monitor sales and marketing performance through tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Shopify Analytics.

Prepare detailed weekly/monthly sales reports with recommendations for improvements.

Conduct competitor and market analysis to stay ahead of retail/digital trends.

Team Building & Management

Build and lead the digital marketing team (performance marketers, content creators, designers, videographers).

Train and mentor junior team members to ensure high-quality delivery.

Manage external vendors, agencies, and freelancers effectively.

Other Responsibilities

Coordinate with product, sales, and retail operations teams for campaign alignment.

Stay updated with the latest digital trends, live-selling techniques, and retail innovations.

Be flexible to take on front-facing roles, including media interviews or public events.

Ensure brand consistency across all digital and offline channels.

Qualifications & Requirements

At least 10 years of digital marketing experience, with proven success in retail/e-commerce.

Strong experience in performance marketing, SEO/SEM, and social media growth.

Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken & written) to conduct live streams, content creation, and communication with stakeholders.

Comfortable being on camera (live streams, video ads, photo shoots) as the brand representative.

Excellent knowledge of digital tools: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Shopify, Mailchimp, Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.

Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and able to execute from zero to scale.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and inspire a marketing team.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where flexibility and multitasking are key.

Working Hours 6-day work week (including weekends).

Compulsory to work on weekends for live streams, campaigns, and retail events.

One rest day will be provided on a weekday (not fixed, based on company’s scheduling needs).

Standard hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flexibility required for campaigns, live sessions, or events).
