Museum of the Bible Job Title: Marketing Coordinator Employment Status: Full time, Hourly, Non exempt of Overtime Salary: $57K to $59,900 Position Summary Purpose: The Marketing Coordinator serves as the liaison for the marketing department’s internal and external communications. This role will be tasked with coordinating the execution of Museum of the Bible promotions and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate requires a proactive individual with a genuine passion for advancing the museum’s mission and should possess a strong work ethic, the ability to multitask effectively, and excel at meeting deadlines. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate Projects (75% of role): Manage projects and deadlines; serving as a liaison between marketing and internal departments by gathering necessary information to ensure marketing requests are timely and properly executed. Collaborate on presentations, reports, and other internal communications. Work with external agencies to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the proper standard. Communicate between MLT (Marketing Leadership Team) and other internal teams, to ensure that information is being shared promptly and properly. Work with Creative Project Manager to gather feedback and direction for projects. Understand project management software to ensure that all projects are moving along in a timely manner. Raise questions, concerns, blockers, and potential hurdles to team management proactively, to make sure that projects are moving seamlessly. Marketing Team Support (25% of role): Research various marketing and advertising opportunities. Provide administrative support for the Product Marketing team. Provide recommendations and collaborate on marketing campaigns. Manage marketing promotional calendar. Schedule meetings to connect teams together. Take notes during marketing meetings and provide action items to respective team members. Support in coordinating marketing events; set up, tear down, communication with facilities and operations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Knowledge: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience. Skills / Core Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge of marketing campaign processes; general knowledge of marketing channels and software (email, social media, web, etc.); general knowledge of technology; project management proficiencies. Schedule Requirements Onsite M-F, 9:00am – 5:00pm Able to work evenings and weekends as needed (very infrequently); when needed, it would be communicated well in advance for planning purposes.
