Media Planner

Our agency client is seeking a Media Planner to round out their growing team! This is a 20-40 hour per week position lasting 2-3 months with potential to extend. Hours will vary based on project and workload. This is a remote role with a preference for the candidate to be in Chicago. Our client is expanding its service offerings and presenting a fresh way to pitch and deliver value by bridging traditional and digital media with strategic precision and hands-on execution. The ideal Media Planner is sharp, opinionated, and versatile who thrives both the weeds and understands the big picture. The role is ideal for someone who is energized by pitches, cross-functional collaboration, and building something new!

Media Planner Responsibilities:

  • Support media strategy from ideation through execution
  • Plan and manage cross-channel campaigns with budgets under $20K
  • Collaborate with offshore resources and internal teams
  • Contribute to client pitches with smart, scalable media solutions
  • Use planning tools to develop and present media plans

Media Planner Requirements:

  • 3+ years of agency experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of media strategy and planning
  • Experience with cross-channel planning tools
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across teams
  • Confident communicator with a clear point of view
  • Ability to toggle between high-level strategy and detailed execution
  • Ability to work in-person at the clients Chicago office
