Marketing/PR Coordinator for Atrium. Our client in the lifestyle, media, and consumer space seeks a sharp, detail-oriented PR/communications professional to support ongoing campaigns, media engagement, and communications strategy. The role is ideal for someone with 1 - 3 years of experience in PR, media, or communications, looking to gain exposure across clients, brands, and campaigns. The Marketing/PR Coordinator will report to the PR Manager and work with the marketing and digital teams.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $26/hr - $30/hr depending on experience. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Draft press materials, including media alerts, press releases, and pitch notes.
  • Coordinate media lists, press clippings, and reporting documents for client-facing updates.
  • Maintain communication with journalists, influencers, and editors as the primary PR Coordinator contact.
  • Support on-site events and press activations as needed (including occasional evenings).
  • Track media coverage and generate weekly and monthly PR recaps.
  • Assist with internal project coordination and calendar management for the PR team.
  • Serve as the liaison between the team and external partners/vendors.

Required Experience/Skills

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in public relations, media, or communications.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills; ability to craft clean, compelling copy.
  • Familiarity with PR tools (Muck Rack, Cision, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Confident, professional demeanor in client and media-facing interactions.
  • Enthusiasm for storytelling, culture, and brand messaging from a PR Coordinator perspective.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Previous agency or lifestyle/consumer brand PR experience.
  • Interest in the NYC media landscape.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing trends.
  • Visual eye for presentations or event collateral is a plus.
  • Ability to think creatively and pitch fresh ideas as a proactive Marketing/PR Coordinator.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field is required.
