Job Description As a UI/UX Designer, you will work with development teams to build intuitive interfaces for forensic and investigative applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that enable analysts and investigators to interact with complex data analysis and visualization tools across multiple enterprise applications. Responsibilities
Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for complex data analysis and visualization tools Collaborate with development teams to build mock-ups of intuitive interfaces Ensure a consistent look and feel across case management development teams Review user experience feedback and implement improvements Develop and maintain style guides and design systems Implement responsive designs based on current best practices Ensure 508 compliance for all user interfaces Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between UI and data services Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups Develop user flows and journey maps to optimize the user experience Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required Active TS clearance at time of application, willingness to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph Onsite 5 days a week in Chantilly, VA Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design Experience with Agile methodologies Understanding of forensic and investigative application requirements Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills Technical Skills
UI/UX Designer - Mid/Senior Design Tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD Frontend: Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Svelte UX Methods: Wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, journey maps Compliance: Section 508 accessibility, forensic workflow requirements Data visualization (e.g., D3.js), enterprise app UX for investigative tools, SAFe Agile Proficiency
UI design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) HTML5/CSS3 Responsive design principles Section 508 compliance requirements Wireframing and prototyping tools User research methodologies Design systems and pattern libraries Additional Technical Experience
Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks JavaScript/TypeScript Data visualization design SAFe Agile methodologies Working in classified environments Complex application workflows Enterprise application design Compensation And Benefits
