Senior UI/UX Designer
Position Overview
As a UI/UX Designer, you will work with development teams to build intuitive interfaces for forensic and investigative applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that enable analysts and investigators to effectively interact with complex data analysis and visualization tools across multiple enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for complex data analysis and visualization tools
- Work with development teams to build mock-ups of intuitive interfaces
- Ensure consistent look and feel across case management development teams
- Review user experience feedback and implement improvements
- Develop and maintain style guides and design systems
- Implement responsive designs based on current best practices
- Ensure 508 compliance for all user interfaces
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between UI and data services
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Develop user flows and journey maps to optimize the user experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in UI/UX design
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework
- Strong understanding of forensic and investigative application requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing complex enterprise applications
- Portfolio showcasing advanced UI/UX design work
Work Environment
- Primary location: Chantilly
- May require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessions
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check and polygraph examination
- May require flexible scheduling to support critical operations
