Seasonal Ambassadors cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to overall shop excellence in both sales and operations. Responsibilities

Position: Seasonal Ambassador

Hours: 0-39 hours/week

Contract: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Experience: Driving sales using StoreForce dashboard results and feedback to exceed goals. Take ownership of results and contribute to the stores overall sales.
  • Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world-class customer experience. Listen to customers, identify needs, demonstrate product benefits, and seek opportunities to make customers day.
  • Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging. Articulate these values in-store and through community engagement.
  • Product Passion: Continually expand product knowledge and stay up-to-date on ingredients and benefits to confidently recommend products.

Team Involvement:

  • Development: Utilize Lush resources to improve sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and increase sales. Seek feedback and development opportunities.
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Promote open communication, listen to diverse perspectives, and foster a sense of belonging.

Operational Excellence:

  • Time and Attendance: Be punctual and reliable, participate in teamwork, and stay informed with company updates.
  • Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Stock and Inventory: Use Visual Merchandising guidelines to adjust displays based on sales.
  • Policies and Procedures: Follow opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety standards.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

  • Experience with consultation-based customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience in skincare or cosmetics
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages

Anchorage 5th Avenue Pay: $14.50 USD
