Lead day-to-day network operations and mentor junior networking staff Design and implement network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide Level 3 support Develop and execute a long-term technical roadmap in collaboration with leadership Manage network monitoring, documentation, and change control processes Support major infrastructure projects, including new facility buildouts Participate in on-call rotation and occasional off-hours support Travel locally to sites (up to 50%); most within 20 miles of the central office What the company needs in a Senior Network Engineer: 5 years of experience in WAN/LAN, datacenter environments, and hybrid/cloud infrastructure Hands-on experience with Aruba/HP networking (Cisco/CCNA backgrounds transferable) Strong knowledge of VLANs, IP addressing, subnetting, and packet-level traffic analysis Familiarity with VoIP, SAN, virtualization, Microsoft Exchange, and endpoint device management Experience with ServiceNow workflows (Incident, Request, Problem, Change Management) Excellent communication and mentorship skills; ability to work across technical and non-technical teams Certifications preferred: Cisco (CCNA), CNP, or equivalent Degree preferred but not required; relevant experience and certifications may offset Bonus Points: Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services environments Comfort working in lean teams with high visibility and autonomy Familiarity with cloud transitions (Azure) and hybrid environments Ability to align with mission-driven work and values Benefits & Perks: Flexible hybrid schedule with autonomy in day-to-day work Collaborative, non-micromanaged culture with direct access to leadership Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous PTO and holiday schedule Mission-aligned work with long-term career growth potential CFSSEP2025 INSEP2025 CBSEP2025 ZRCFSTECH LI-MH3
