Contract About the job: As a Motion Designer, you'll apply your passion for animation to simplify complex interactions and solve challenging design problems. You'll help define and implement motion design language and think critically about how motion reinforces a product's UX brand, enhances interactivity, and delights users.
UX Motion Designer: Responsible for creating and implementing motion interactions across a core app experience.
Responsibilities: Create and implement motion interactions and patterns within the app Follow the established Motion System and provide guidance on animation and transitions for different devices and platforms, including Android, iOS, Wear, and Web Create high-quality motion flows for stakeholder presentations Communicate and publish precise motion specs, patterns, and interactions Deliver high-quality motion and communicate what's feasible within tight deadlines Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and PMs Be receptive to feedback and adapt quickly to changes Qualifications:
Understanding of the principles of animation and how to apply them to UI Proficiency in After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma Strong understanding of UX motion design principles Strong understanding of design systems Strong ability to spec out motion Strong understanding of technical product implementation (e.g., Lottie) Illustrative animation skills are a plus
