We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our Sales, Marketing, and Relationship Management team. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with 23 years of experience who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the investment management industry. The Marketing Associate will support a variety of initiatives, including client communications, marketing collateral development, and database management, playing a key role in how we present our firm to clients, prospects, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Chief Marketing Officer to complete client, prospect, and consultant questionnaires, as well as maintain related databases.
  • Prepare and submit Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other information requests from prospective clients and consultants.
  • Conduct research to gather data supporting performance narratives and write monthly commentary pieces highlighting strategy positioning and market insights.
  • Update and maintain external databases on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy across performance, holdings, assets, characteristics, personnel, and other firm metrics.
  • Analyze firm-related data to determine the most relevant and strategic information for marketing materials and responses.
  • Generate reporting and analytics, including performance reports, attribution data, and portfolio characteristics, using systems such as FactSet, eVestment, Morningstar, and Crystal/Advent Geneva.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing presentations, fact sheets, and other client-facing materials.
  • Support special projects and additional initiatives as assigned by the Marketing Manager and Chief Marketing Officer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 23 years of marketing experience, ideally in financial services or asset management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-starter who can work independently while supporting team goals.
