Join Our Design Team – HVAC Focus
Our client is building a design team that serves as the brain behind the complex and intricate systems on their large-scale projects. As the
HVAC Designer , you’ll play a key role in shaping airflow distribution, equipment selection, and ductwork layouts to ensure seamless coordination with both mechanical and electrical scopes.
Position Responsibilities Modify documents per Project Manager/Estimator and Fab Shop markups Export to DWG and other formats for collaboration Sketch or model layouts and compute airflow requirements, duct sizes, weights, surface areas, dimensions, tolerances, and clearances Apply knowledge of HVAC systems, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete accurate drawings Follow Revit standards and procedures Participate in Revit/Fabrication/coordination meetings Assist during project setup Create Spool drawings and coordination documents Utilize Lean Construction or Manufacturing principles where applicable Collaborate across construction teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Here’s What We’re Looking For 3+ years of design and coordination experience Revit/Navisworks Manage (knowledge of work-sharing, coordination, and modeling) AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Fabrication CADMEP, Trimble VDC Pro+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with Document Management Tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, and ACC Field experience preferred Knowledge of HVAC fabrication methods and processes preferred
