Overview

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and professional woodwinds teacher to teach part-time Creative Music Center in Monroe, CT, named a NAMM Top 100 Dealer, 12 years running. We are looking for teachers who will instruct in person.

Availability and Responsibilities

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Qualifications

• A degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience
• A demonstrated love of teaching
• Experience working with young musicians
• A robust appreciation for punctuality
• Reliable transportation
• The ability to pass a routine background check

Compensation and Benefits

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $32-38/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
