About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Researcher to join our Foundation Model team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end user research and usability testing, shaping product strategy for cutting-edge scientific workflows and agentic frameworks. Your insights will directly influence how AI/ML engineers and scientists design tools for our internal Drug Discovery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define Product Strategy Through UX Research: Lead research to identify pain points and uncover new opportunities for agents and frameworks.
  • Design & Execute Usability Studies: Conduct contextual inquiries, heuristic evaluations, and other user testing methodologies.
  • Operationalize User Feedback: Build systematic processes to collect, analyze, and track qualitative feedback over time.
  • Uncover Actionable Insights: Analyze qualitative/quantitative data to understand user behavior, motivation, and obstacles.
  • Build User-Testing Infrastructure: Establish reusable protocols, participant recruitment pipelines, and insight repositories.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with AI/ML engineers and scientists to translate findings into clear product direction.
  • Communicate Findings: Deliver clear, compelling insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Experience in UX research and usability testing (preferably for complex, expert-facing systems).
  • Experience in qualitative & quantitative research, A/B testing, longitudinal studies, and experience benchmarking.
  • Familiarity with tools like UserTesting, Contentsquare, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to build and scale user research practices (recruitment, testing, knowledge management).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to advocate for users while considering business and technical constraints.
  • A genuine curiosity about the drug discovery process.

Highly Preferred

  • Experience with LLM-based applications and standardized protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Experience working on internal tools with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
