Use your writing skills for good! Volunteer on a project for FLY. Join to apply for the role at Full Circle Fund.

Our Fall programs run from September 7th to December 16th. This is an afterwork program, requiring a flexible 2-3 hours/week time commitment, with most meetings held in the evenings. You will join a team of 4-5 other volunteers and collaborate to complete a meaningful project for a local nonprofit. In addition to project work, you will participate in workshops alongside three other project teams to connect with fellow volunteers and deepen your understanding of key social issues in our community.

About the project

Nonprofit Partner FLY’s mission is to prevent juvenile crime and incarceration through legal education, leadership training, and one-on-one mentoring.

Project Goal Create content and materials for FLY's redesigned CAFA (Court appointed friend and advocate) program. The team will audit existing content, conduct stakeholder interviews, create an outline and develop content for a 3-tiered mentor program. This will allow FLY to pair volunteers with youth based on lived experiences and shared perspectives.
