Position Overview:

As a Senior UI FE Engineer you will play a key role in a newly formed group responsible for developing a central, business-critical product that directly drives a significant portion of the company’s revenue. You’ll be expected to lead projects end-to-end, design scalable systems, and help shape engineering best practices. Your work will directly affect the productivity, performance, and quality of our engineering at scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design and development of new features end-to-end — from technical spec through production deployment
  • Own complex architectural decisions and collaborate on high-level product design
  • Define, spread, and enforce development standards across teams
  • Partner with engineers and stakeholders across teams to ensure shared understanding, ownership, and alignment
  • Drive the creation of reusable, generic components and services that serve multiple web apps
  • Maintain a strong focus on performance, scalability, and code quality in a system that’s critical to the entire organization

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience leading projects and designing systems in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
  • Deep expertise with React and Redux/Recoil in complex, performance-sensitive applications (4+ years)
  • Strong system design skills and a track record of building maintainable, scalable architectures
  • Experience with Next.js (a plus)
  • Experience working with CMS platforms (a plus)
  • Experience with microservices and cloud infrastructure (GCP is a plus)
  • A collaborative, thoughtful engineer who enjoys helping others and driving cross-team initiatives

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $108,900 and $161,160 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. The total compensation package may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program. Regular, full-time employees are eligible for a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 14 paid holidays per calendar year, paid vacation (15–25 days, varies by tenure), up to 10 paid sick days, paid parental and compassionate leave, wellbeing programs, commuter benefits, and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
