Overview

Glass Warehouse is a fast-growing company based in Oceanside, CA, focused on glass railing, shower doors and enclosures, mirrors, medicine cabinets and other home improvement and décor. We are looking for an individual to join the team ON SITE as a Graphic Designer to help us grow the brand across multiple retailer sites. The right candidate will have graphic design experience along with some technical drawing experience and general technical/website savvy. This position requires onsite presence at our Oceanside, CA office.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with marketing and executive team to deliver website graphics, instruction manuals, spec cards, packaging, POS, displays, collateral, sell sheets, mockups, and materials.
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
  • Retouch, provide clipping paths, manipulate images, and recreate/resize existing artwork as needed.
  • Oversee internal artwork review processes to ensure all work goes out the door error-free.
  • Prepare final, press-ready files based on supplied specifications for various installation manuals.
  • Prepare images for online and mobile applications.
  • Maintain organized production files, including fonts, images, logos, and other artwork.
  • Stay up to date with current graphic design trends, techniques, and software.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

  • 2 to 5 years industry experience in web design, print production, graphic design, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in design, related field or equivalent training and experience.
  • Prior experience in technical drawing and creation of line drawings via Adobe Illustrator a huge plus.
  • Able to demonstrate strong typography, layout skills, color theory and clear knowledge of web and print production processes.
  • Solid communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding organizational, project management, file organization and archiving skills.
  • Proficient in Apple and/or PC, Adobe Creative Suite (PS, AI, IND), Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Portfolio or Samples required.
  • Candidate’s skills will be tested and a freelance period may be requested before hiring.
