Overview
We're looking for a skilled Packaging Production Artist to join our client's team. You027ll update and adapt existing packaging artwork to align with brand style guides across multiple product lines. This role involves preparing mechanical files for print production, ensuring all specifications and legal requirements are accurately applied. You027ll also create, retouch, resize, and finalize product imagery and digital assets for e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and our direct-to-consumer sites. Maintaining organized file structures, version control, and documentation is key, as is ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand standards. You027ll collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet production timelines and perform prepress checks to ensure files are print-ready.
Responsibilities
- Update and adapt packaging artwork to align with brand style guides across multiple product lines.
- Prepare mechanical files for print production, ensuring all specifications and regulatory requirements are accurately applied.
- Create, retouch, resize, and finalize product imagery and digital assets for e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, and direct-to-consumer sites).
- Maintain organized file structures, version control, and documentation; ensure consistent quality and adherence to brand standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet production timelines.
- Perform prepress checks to ensure files are print-ready.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of production design experience, specifically in CPG packaging and ecommerce content.
- Deep knowledge of packaging production workflows, print specifications, and regulatory considerations.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Familiarity with preparing imagery and assets for ecommerce platforms and online retailers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and file management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple concurrent projects.
