Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager, the person in this highly visible role is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of the visual components of our firm’s marketing vision across multiple digital channels. Working closely with our Marketing and Wealth Management teams, this individual will help shape the future of our brand and our client's digital experience in working with our firm.

Essential Responsibilities

Graphic Design, Video, and Photography for Digital & Traditional Channels
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager to produce multimedia content, including videos, graphics, print assets, and animations, that are aligned with brand standards and marketing objectives.
    • Design visually compelling graphics for social media posts, ads, blog posts, webinar/video content, presentations, and email campaigns, ensuring they align with the brand's identity.
    • Use tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Canva to create assets that reflect a consistent brand aesthetic.
    • Translate high-level concepts into practical designs and production steps, ensuring the visual storytelling complements the strategic goals.
    • Collaborate with external editors and freelancers to develop short and long-form videos optimized for social media platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
    • Create eye-catching motion graphics and animation templates to enhance video content and communicate complex financial concepts in a digestible format.
  • Experience utilizing user-centered design principles and best practices to produce visuals such as user interfaces for multiple platforms, illustration, typography, photography, icons, data visualization, style guides, personas, journey maps, storyboards, and landing pages.
  • Take responsibility for the creation and direction of photography assets that reflect the company's visual identity.
Project Management
  • Manage the production timeline for all video, multimedia, and graphic content, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • Organize assets in file management system to meet stringent compliance requirements
  • Ability to balance stakeholder needs according to established processes while juggling multiple projects
  • Work within all industry compliance rules and regulations for all incoming/outgoing communications; and stay continually up-to-date on rules as they change from year to year. 
Media Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute visual storytelling content for social channels in alignment with the editorial content calendar and departmental needs
  • Upon understanding the content objectives and messaging, develop video storyboards and scripts that effectively communicate the key ideas.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including providing coaching and direction, to ensure all creative assets (video, graphics, etc.) work together seamlessly.
  • Input and review all social media and webinar assets in scheduling software to promote in accordance with editorial content calendar.
  • Analyze performance metrics to inform future content creation and strategy adjustments.
  • Maintain and ensure SEC compliance and consistency with brand guidelines across all visual assets.
Collaboration & Vendor Management
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, wealth management, and leadership to brainstorm and deliver impactful content.
  • Coordinate with external freelancers or agencies as needed to produce specialized multimedia content.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field highly preferred – May be open to non-degreed with proven experience
      • 2-4 years of proven working experience required in digital marketing, including graphic design, project management and video content creation
      • Agency experience preferred
    • Proficiency in content creation software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Capcut, Davinci Resolve, etc) and capture (filming, storyboarding, communicating creative vision to stakeholders, mock-ups, etc.).
    • Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
    • Online portfolio of prior work sample
    • Must be located or willing to relocate to the Greater Houston area

Preferred
  • Familiarity with financial services topics or the ability to translate complex financial concepts into engaging visuals.
  • Experience creating motion graphics and video animations is a plus
  • Proven success creating and managing a brand’s digital marketing content with increasing engagement over time
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000/year plus 12-15% target bonus based on company and individual performance
  • 401(k) plan with opportunity to earn up to 7% the first year and 10% with tenure.
