Overview Contract – 8 Weeks; with potential to be full time We are seeking a Head of Event Operations / Event Producer to lead production on a major upcoming event. This is a contract role beginning immediately for an 8-10 week engagement leading up to event. Responsibilities Lead all operations and production for upcoming New York Dog Parade event Help oversee event logistics: crowd control, barricades, staging, and vendor coordination Coordinate with brands and sponsors on activations, ensuring smooth setup and execution Serve as the point of contact for brands and media partners Manage production timelines, budgets, and deliverables in the weeks leading up to the event Recruit, train, and lead staff/volunteers on parade day Collaborate with internal leadership on sponsorship integration and creative vision Qualifications Experience in production, operations, logistics, and production management Experience working directly with brands, clients, and sponsors on event activations Ability to coordinate with city agencies and officials Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Available to start immediately and commit through end of October Passion for NYC community events Must love dogs Details Contract Duration: 8 weeks, starting immediately Location: New York, NY (on-site required) Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Non-profit Organizations #J-18808-Ljbffr
