Overview
Senior Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US) at Abe, a specialized consultancy focused on social media advertising. We leverage LinkedIn, Meta and other platforms to reach, engage, and convert target audiences. The role reports to the Associate Director and is a key part of the social media team, on the ground floor of a fast-growing specialty agency.
We prioritize Customer Generation as our marketing methodology, focusing on SQLs and Customers rather than traditional MQLs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
- Provide direct support to client contacts
- Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align tasks, ensure work quality, and identify improvements
- Build strategies for clients each quarter
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
- Provide fractional support for internal marketing within Directive
- Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
- Be accountable for personal productivity and utilization
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to meet internal and client goals
- Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
- Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals through client relationships
- Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer
- 4+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency with hands-on support for B2B clients
- Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
- Understanding of LinkedIn ad units such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more
- Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools (e.g., LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6sense)
- Ability to delegate to junior team members to ensure joint success
- Strong understanding of paid principles including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to drive decisions
- Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
- Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
- Problem-solver with a competitive and curious mindset
- Always stay on the cutting edge of the industry and seek opportunities to grow
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
- Quality-focused with passion for advertising
- Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed

- Make exceptional decisions regarding strategic direction for accounts

- Base salary range for this position in the United States: $85,000-$95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility

Work Environment Requirements
As a remote-first company, you can work from anywhere in the US with optional in-person offices in Irvine, CA. For global roles, you must have current work authorization and reside in the country.
