Holy Cross School, Trinity Park is an integral component of the Northern Beaches Parish of Cairns. The Holy Cross School Charism - RELATIONSHIPS, COMMUNITY, SERVICE and STEWARDSHIP - referred to as The Holy Cross Way, is embedded in all facets of school life, and lived by every member of the school community.
Grounded in a reputation of innovation, Holy Cross School introduced Walker Learning in 2017, an Australian based holistic pedagogy. Through hands-on creative exploration and investigation, Walker Learning enables staff to balance student activity with explicit instruction driven by teachers.
As Learners in a digital world, Holy Cross School embraces personalised self-driven flip learning platforms. One-to-one devices for all students in Years 3 to 6, and shared devices in the lower years, ensure equitable access to diverse teaching and learning environments.
Holy Cross School embodies Catholic identity as a welcoming and inclusive community. With two teams of School Officers (Team Wellbeing and Team Learning), teachers offer an authentic inclusive curriculum ensuring every child can meet their potential. The school is a fully accredited Dyslexia School.
