Overview
UX/UI Designer, 1 year contract, possible conversion. 1st shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home. To be considered, include a portfolio link on resume.
Our global client is seeking an exceptional, experienced, and self-driven UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive, interactive, and user-centered experiences for internal business tools and applications. You\'ll join a nimble, high-impact team that operates like a startup within the enterprise—delivering solutions that streamline workflows, surface insights, and empower teams across the organization. The team embraces an MVP mindset—delivering high-value features quickly while maintaining a long-term vision. As a key member of this team, you\'ll shape how tools look and feel, ensuring usability, clarity, and visual polish at every stage of development.
Responsibilities
- Own the design process from concept to implementation, including research, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and developer-ready handoffs.
- Design actionable, user-friendly interfaces for data-rich dashboards, metric pages, and complex workflows.
- Balance speed and quality by delivering thoughtful iterations quickly, with clear documentation and assets.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and end users to align designs with business goals and user needs.
Key Skills & Must-Haves
- Figma expertise: Advanced skills with components, auto-layout, prototyping, and developer handoff.
- Bootstrap familiarity: Ability to design within the grid and component system.
- Strong portfolio: Showcasing UX/UI work for business applications, dashboards, and/or complex tools.
- Data visualization design: Experience with charts, graphs, tables, and interactive components.
Nice-to-Haves
- Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and dynamic data-driven flows.
- Experience in Agile or MVP-focused environments.
- Usability testing and rapid prototyping experience.
