Overview Senior UX Designer / Principal UX Designer with Security Clearance – Eleven Peppers is hiring. This role involves collaborating with users and stakeholders to define interfaces, conduct user research, and design intuitive user experiences. Responsibilities Define interface requirements by collaborating with users and stakeholders Collect and analyze user behaviors and needs through user research Design user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that are intuitive and present a clear flow of information Brand and design UIs, define style guides to ensure consistency in the interface Collaborate with teammates that may include other designers, project managers, developers, engineers, and product champions Concept system architectures Qualifications You have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, human factors engineering, or a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Usability Engineering) and at least 14 years of experience You’ve mastered Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software, to design sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups You have experience with a prototyping tool such as Axure, Sketch, or Adobe XD Your design sensibility is refined and purposeful, and the artifacts you create are beautiful and functional Talking to users and soliciting their feedback is second nature, and you can articulate design concepts to a variety of audiences You have excellent communication skills, both writing and speaking You have the ability to communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives Desired: Experience with Agile development Employment details Work location: Columbia, MD. Some telework may be available. Compensation Salary range provided during the selection process. Exact pay will be determined based on factors including years of experience, contract requirements, billable vs. non-billable, position urgency/demand, and location/telework options.
