Clair Global Corporation is hiring: Audio Warehouse Technician - Cleveland, Ohio

Clair Global has an opening for a Shop Technician to join their warehouse team! This position is a full-time position, with benefits, that provides an opportunity to work with the best in the business for boldly advancing technology driven experiences through audio, video, systems integration, and more. This position will work Thursday - Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off.

Essential Functions: The Shop Technician position is primarily responsible for the prep, de-prep, and maintenance of all shop equipment. This position may also be scheduled to assist in the field with troubleshooting, repairs, and as a back up to others, and may be scheduled to be an audio technician on a show on occasion.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prep equipment for projects, including
  • Preparing consoles for projects and testing for proper operation
  • Preparing microphones, accessories and workbox(s) for projects
  • Preparing racks (amps, electronics, console & other) for events
  • Preparing speakers & rigging for projects
  • Load cable trunks per truck pack & provide counts for inventory
  • Scan equipment out of inventory system when it leaves building
  • Communicate shortages to shop management and/or US project management
• De-Prep & Maintenance
  • De-prep, Maintenance, Troubleshoot and repair consoles
  • De-prep and maintenance equipment returning from Projects
  • Scan all equipment back into shop and count cables back into inventory
  • Test cables, speakers, microphones & electronics
  • Strip racks after events & tours
• Other shop responsibilities (as back up)
  • Unload and load trucks
  • Build, Assemble and repair cables, ac, etc.
  • Paint speaker cabinets & racks
  • Delivery and pickup of equipment as needed
  • Arrange Logistics/ Equipment Movements
• Other
  • Installation Technician for permanent systems as needed
  • Audio Tech on Projects
  • Assist show crew with technical support
  • Arrange Logistics/ Equipment Movements
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Act as a team member to other staff
  • Other items as requested by Management

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License in good standing with insurance company
• Lifting Capacity of 50lbs
• Forklift Driver (Training provided if needed)
