You will collaborate closely with the Principal Designer, primarily in a support capacity, helping projects come together. You will work from your home office and in the field across all aspects of the sales, design, and production process. We are a design-led remodeling company; you will work with clients to understand their needs and shape custom designs that realize a shared vision. You will develop deliverables such as mood boards, plans, and material selections in partnership with the Principal Designer. You will play a key role in planning, design, and execution of all projects. Hybrid (Remote & Field) Responsibilities

Support the Principal Designer in all aspects of the design and build process. Collaborate to develop mood boards, client presentations, and material selections. Work directly with clients to understand needs and project constraints, and develop designs that realize the vision. Research and specify items and materials to meet project requirements and budgets. Use Chief Architect or other design software to develop floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings. Travel onsite to collect measurements and mark placement for installations. Develop cabinetry design plans for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and more. Perform design administration during construction, ensuring requirements are met and noting corrections. Participate in regular design review meetings (internal and client-facing). Stage completed projects for photography and video; maintain FF&E schedules. Take notes during client review meetings and share via BuilderTrend. Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years residential interior design experience or related field. Ability to meet hard deadlines and maintain strong attention to detail. Experience with interior design software such as Chief Architect or SketchUp. Ability to research and select budget-conscious designs and materials. Ability to establish and maintain collaborative, positive working relationships with managers, peers, clients, and vendors. Strong presentation skills with the ability to solicit feedback and articulate a clear vision. Good communication, personable demeanor, and sense of humor. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) with clear spelling, grammar, and terminology. Experience with Microsoft or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Reliable transportation, valid license and insurance; travel required for jobsite/showroom visits and events. Residence in the Greater Seattle/Tacoma area.
