Love working behind the scenes? We're looking for a hands-on, flexible Assistant for Production to join our creative team. You'll help set up lights, run cables, operate cameras, mix audio, and keep our studio production-ready. No experience? No problem! We'll train you. This on-call role offers varied hours (including evenings and weekends) and is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and wants to learn the ins and outs of live production.
Summary Of Responsibilities
May operate studio and field cameras for live and recorded productions. Support lighting setup, focusing, and adjustments during shoots.
Assist in setting up and striking equipment for video and broadcast productions. Help transport, load, and unload gear for on-location shoots. Run, secure, and manage cables to ensure safe and efficient setups.
May perform basic audio mixing for live and recorded events and assist with live event streaming, including setup and monitoring of streaming equipment. Provide general production support during rehearsals and events.
Maintain inventory of studio equipment and report repairs or replacements. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with studio operational standards. Maintain an organized, clean, and production-ready studio environment. Prepare and test all equipment prior to production to ensure functionality.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of video, audio, or lighting equipment (training provided).
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge of general production techniques.
Skilled in the following activities:
- Camera Operation
- Grip/Utility
- Audio Mixing
- Setup/Strike of Equipment
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
