Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is hiring: Digital Anchor/Reporter in Terre Haute

WTWO is on the hunt for a rockstar OBS Specialist. If you’re obsessed with livestreams, love being on camera, and know your way around Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), you could be the person to run the show—hosting, producing, switching, editing, and uploading daily and special video content (including live content). You’ll be a go-to for everything from breaking news to personality-driven stories, both in-studio and on location.

What You'll be Doing

• Creative control of livestreams and video segments using OBS—from setup to hosting to upload.
• Plan and execute daily live shows, breaking news hits, and special projects.
• Book interviews, gather visuals, and prep rundowns — you’re the storyteller and the tech wizard.
• Collaborate on OBS scenes with the graphics team to keep visuals sharp and on-brand.
• Team up with news, promo, and digital teams to maximize reach and shares.
• Join live or taped shoots on location—out in the field as needed.
• Handle live-stream challenges with multitasking, troubleshooting, and keeping the show rolling.
• Learn the ins and outs of livestream setups and gear.
• Try new things and push boundaries in the digital space.
• Polish your work with attention to detail to make content shine.
• Know your way around cameras, lighting, and audio—greatly appreciated.

What You Bring to the Table

• 2–3 years of on-camera work and video production experience (bonus points for tech troubleshooting).
• Solid OBS skills or experience with similar streaming software.
• A self-starter attitude—you see moments and know how to capture them.
• Awareness of current events and newsmakers.
• Journalism ethics—fair, accurate, and legal practices.
• Great people skills, whether working solo or in a team.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

You must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. You must be able to lift and operate camera equipment, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions, make decisions without supervision, and work near others. Ability to operate equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. and hold a valid driver’s license is required.
