The Role
Ready to take center stage in the world of meetings and events? As our Event Planner, you’ll be the mastermind behind some of the most exciting events, serving as the key advisor for operational and financial strategies. You will ensure every meeting runs like a well-oiled machine from our client’s vibrant New York office, helping to create memorable experiences that leave a lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple meetings and events with precision and flair.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Oversee budgets and ensure all financial aspects are on point.
- Coach and guide team members to deliver top-notch client satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency.
Qualifications
- A college degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- At least three (3) years of experience in a lead meeting/event planner role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong experience in vendor management, sourcing, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency with tools like Cvent and video conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, Webex).
- Positive, collaborative attitude with exceptional communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Location: This is an office-based role in New York, NY. Candidates must be within commuting distance to midtown Manhattan.
- Travel: Up to 30% may be required.

Salary and Notes

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Program Manager (Event Planner) is between $70,000 - $90,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
