Overview

Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator – FULL-TIME assignment with a premier Wholesale Distributor client in Elmsford, NY. Hybrid: in-office 2-3 days/week. The company is a leading wholesale distributor for landscape supplies with 61 locations in the U.S. and Canada. The role supports marketing and sales material creation, digital and email marketing, website maintenance, and general marketing support. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for graphic design and marketing support across multiple channels and initiatives.

You should be a go-getter who can wear multiple hats, including production of catalogs, brochures, flyers and other printed/digital materials; creation of marketing emails; data input; market research; and support/execution of marketing initiatives and events. Must have a sense of urgency, ability to learn quickly, be highly organized, and detail-oriented. This fast-paced in-house marketing department supports all locations and corporate marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing department's initiatives with planning, developing, executing, and tracking marketing programs such as email, events, social media, paid ads, or content marketing
  • Independently coordinate marketing initiatives and activities to support local/regional branches, sales team, and category-specific goals
  • Creation and execution of print and digital marketing collateral, including but not limited to monthly specials/newsletters, event invitations, catalogs, booklets, flyers, etc.
  • Resize/create/edit imagery for various channel distribution when necessary
  • Track, collate, and maintain an organized inventory of marketing materials
  • Build and test e-blasts and marketing automation series
  • Prepare marketing proposals and meeting presentation materials
  • Support event planning and production, including internal quarterly meetings, grand opening events, trade shows and classes
  • Maintain and update website as needed to align with upcoming/current marketing calendar
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice, including monthly articles for website and newsletter
  • Conduct research and monitor industry and marketing/business trends to identify engaging topics for newsletters
  • Monitor and respond to requests from website
  • Multitask and assist on various projects as needed

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of prior experience in a graphic design or marketing coordinator-level role (not just freelance)
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Firm grasp of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including digital and email marketing
  • Strong graphic design experience
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to design in PPT for presentations and proposals
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
  • Excellent organizational/time management skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with a positive, energetic demeanor
  • Copy writing

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms
  • Knowledge of print processes and production
  • Knowledge of video editing
