Advertising Operations Manager (Marketing & Communications)
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA, Inc.) is seeking an Advertising Operations Manager (Marketing & Communications) for a contract assignment with a premier Insurance services client in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution & Trafficking: Manage end-to-end setup, QA, and launch of paid campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Ads; create and manage campaign timelines and launch schedules; implement and troubleshoot tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and conversion events with compliance to financial advertising regulations; ensure audience targeting, creative rotation, and budget pacing across platforms.
- Platform Expertise: Serve as internal expert on Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads; stay current on platform updates, ad policy changes, and new ad formats affecting financial products and services; provide strategic guidance on campaign structure, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation for financial audiences.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and maintain SOPs for campaign trafficking, creative specs delivery, landing page alignment, and reporting workflows with focus on compliance and audit readiness; collaborate with media planners, compliance/legal teams, creative, and analytics; identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
- Reporting & Optimization: Ensure accurate data collection and attribution across platforms; monitor performance, spend, pacing, budgets, and delivery; flag issues and recommend optimizations; partner with analytics teams to support dashboards and insights, especially around lead quality and conversion tracking; attend performance reporting meetings and track optimization recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with compliance and legal teams to ensure advertising meets regulatory standards; liaise with account reps to troubleshoot issues and leverage platform support; coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in digital advertising operations with hands-on experience in Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads.
- Experience managing campaigns in regulated industries, preferably financial services; ability to work across multiple teams and lines of business.
- Strong understanding of paid media strategy, targeting, and performance metrics across social and search.
- Experience with pixel implementation, tag management systems, and campaign QA.
- Familiarity with ad servers (e.g., Google Campaign Manager) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; strong communication and project management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing enterprise-level campaigns and large-scale media budgets.
- Knowledge of financial advertising regulations.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Workfront).
- Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, or other web technologies is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, including timeline management and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across marketing, compliance, and analytics teams.
