TITLE : ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)

RATE RANGE : $45 / hr - $55 / hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)

DURATION : 12 months

CLEARANCE : Active Secret security clearance preferred-must be able to obtain

TELECOMMUTE : This position can be onsite hybrid or fully remote.

LOCATION : McLeansville NC 27301

POSITION DESCRIPTION

As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems youll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.

Responsibilities / Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS

• A minimum of two years experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
• Experience with library management practices.
• Experience with ECAD / PCB layoutdesign processes.
• Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM Xpedition, DXdatabook BoardStation Hyperlynx) or Altium
• Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system Footprint Expert Enterprise 23 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO and Hyperlynx.
• Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
• Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
• In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques. Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
• Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable.
• Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists ODB digital fabrication packages 3D model generation)
• EDUCATION REQUIRED

Education

Associates degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
