Your Role: In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers and senior designers to create accurate construction drawings, support project documentation, and assist with technical design for land development projects. If you enjoy CAD drafting, Civil 3D workflows, and turning design concepts into real-world projects, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do: Produce detailed construction drawings, exhibits, topographical profiles, alignments, surfaces, grading plans, and earthwork calculations using Civil 3D. Update and revise drawings based on redline markups and project requirements. Prepare quantity take-offs and support project documentation under guidance of engineers or senior designers. Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and support construction coordination. Maintain professionalism in client and team interactions and support project timelines.
What You’ll Bring: Associate degree or equivalent from a technical school, or CAD certification (experience may substitute for formal education). Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including alignments, profiles, pipe networks, labeling, surfaces, and basic AutoCAD functions. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions to complete multi-step tasks. Solid teamwork and communication skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and email workflows. Bonus points if you have 1–2 years of experience with residential or commercial site development projects or experience preparing full construction plan sets or working with Esri ArcGIS/geospatial data.
