Overview
Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Sales
Major Goal
Drive sales lead generation through creation of:
- strategic marketing plan to help achieve sales and revenue goals
- outbound marketing campaigns supported by strong calls to action and supporting web landing page
- content pulled from AI and existing content provided by manufacturers and vendors
Toughest Parts of the Job
- Lead through influence versus authority in working directly with sales team members to complete the follow up activity to support campaigns

Job Functions
- Participate in strategic planning sessions using the EOS process to ensure progress is being made on marketing initiatives and actions
- Embody Function4 values with the ability to bring those forth in all marketing messages
- Collaborate with sales and leadership to understand Function4 product features, benefits, and value proposition
- Act as primary administrator of HubSpot
- Within HubSpot, build campaigns, segment lists, and create, maintain, and optimize workflows to convert leads to customers
- Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
- Create and manage outbound email campaigns
- Grow new leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead-generation content
- Segment lists based on behaviors such as past email engagement and website interactions
- Collaborate with third-party resources (such as vendors and manufacturers, marketing services, etc.), internal sales team members, industry experts, and AI to utilize existing content
- Manage social media accounts by implementing strategies to grow followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads
- Create sharable content for Function4 sales team and leadership to share on social media (such as LinkedIn)
- Engage key marketing systems (such as HubSpot and CRM) to generate, distribute, and report on leads
- Establish and maintain processes to ensure best practices in lead generation and database management
- Manage and monitor key marketing and sales activities within CRM to ensure sale team is following up on leads in timely manner
- Perform competitive research to understand happenings in market. Incorporate findings into marketing campaigns to generate leads
- Review engagement statistics and lead conversion rates to analyze campaign results
- Work with third-party provider to monitor website activity and analyze key performance metrics to recommend additional changes and content
- Identify appropriate social media platforms and other web-based tools to educate, gain trust and promote Function4
- Monitor online presence to ensure consistency with marketing message (i.e., Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reviews, etc.)
- Oversee implementation of individual online marketing plans and analyze and share data to measure effectiveness of plans
- Evaluate current and prospective marketing providers, recommend changes as needed and serve as the primary interface to manage the vendor relationship
- Recommend changes and enhancements to system and / or processes, including sales and marketing lead hand off process and how sales and marketing work together to attract leads, convert and then continue to delight customers
- Maintain and track master marketing calendars
- Develop, plan, and execute quarterly customer prospecting events
- Establish and maintain a strong network of relationships within the marketing industry and understand training/development opportunities to ensure marketing strategy remains relevant given current market conditions and competitive markets
- Maintain knowledge of developments, trends, and best practices in digital marketing
- Attend networking events to promote company
- Project a positive corporate image within the community and with prospective employees
- Build and manage team as needed
Working Conditions
- General working hours are Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm with limited absences/tardiness. Additional hours as required to complete objectives. Attend occasional webinars and training

Knowledge and Skills
- Strong written communication skills including to generate copy from existing sources, email copy, and video script writing and development
- Marketing, social media, and project management desired
- Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, Communication, Advertising or Journalism and a minimum of 3 years marketing experience, or equivalent
- Strong Customer Relationships Management (CRM) software experience (i.e., SalesForce, SalesChain, HubSpot CRM, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of internet marketing as well as general marketing strategies
- Knowledge of social media a must, HTML a plus
- Wide range of experience and understanding of how marketing drives sales through effective lead generation
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure
- Experience working with agency/ client partners, exhibiting the ability to generate maximum return through effective marketing strategies and direction
- Strong verbal communication skills and genuinely gets along well with people

- Basic video editing software familiarity such as WeVideo or Adobe Spark; Premiere Pro a bonus
- Google Analytics or other tools for gathering metrics
