24 Seven is hiring: Graphic Designer / Art Director in Bloomfield Township

Overview

Timing: Start early October. Duration: Ongoing freelance, potential contract-to-hire. Hours per week: 36. Location: Bloomfield Hills, MI (onsite at least 3 days per week Tue/Wed/Thu). Pay rate: $25-35/hr. Eventual Salary: $60-70K+ DOE.

One of our non-profit clients is looking for a Graphic Designer / Art Director to join their team for an ongoing freelance role with the potential for contract-to-hire.

Job Responsibilities

• Design creative materials for both print and digital platforms, aligned with the organization’s brand and campaign goals.
• Adapt and refine existing design concepts for a variety of channels (i.e. flyers, social, email, event collateral, reports, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Traffic Manager, marketing staff, and internal stakeholders to review, modify, and finalize designs.
• Present design concepts for feedback and implement revisions as needed.
• Coordinate with external vendors (printers, mail houses) to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Use project management and collaboration tools (i.e. Asana, OneDrive, Outlook, SmugMug, etc.) to track progress and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of agency or in-house experience as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, or Production Designer
• BA degree in graphic design, art, or relevant field
• Fully proficient with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Adaptable, collaborative, and positive attitude
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to partner with staff at all levels and external vendors.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
