Responsibilities
- Build UI layouts and flows using UGUI inside Unity
- Animate UI elements using DoTween and Unity's animation tools to enhance responsiveness and game feel
- Create and implement UI-specific visual effects such as transitions, hover states, feedback, and screen polish
- Work closely with UX, design, and engineering to ensure UI clarity, consistency, and technical reliability
- Maintain performance-friendly UI systems, optimizing assets and animation timing
- Support the implementation of live updates and dynamic UI elements for live ops or gameplay feedback
- Help document best practices for UI animation and visual polish
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in Unity as a UI/Tech Artist or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with UGUI and Unity's animation/VFX systems
- Proficient with animation tools like DoTween and Unity Timeline
- High attention to detail in timing, spacing, and clarity of interaction
- Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, feedback, and user readability
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Based in Latin America or a time zone that allows overlap with a LATAM-based team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shader Graph or HLSL to build UI-specific shaders
- Familiarity with Unity Addressables, performance profiling, and UI asset optimization
- Background working on card games, stylized interfaces, or systems-heavy UI
- Comfortable in live development environments (early access, fast updates, frequent patches)
